Steps to Success Program

Youth Without Shelter’s Steps to Success Program offers a variety of workshops to educate youth on life skills. Workshop topics include: budgeting, healthy sexuality, substance abuse, anger management, job search skills, effective communication and self-esteem development among others. Recreational activities are also provided to develop social skills and ease some of the daily pressures homeless youth face.

Steps workshops are available five days a week during the morning and afternoon. The range of workshops are presented by staff as well as over 12 partner agencies such as:

The Steps to Success Coordinator shares her thoughts:

“The STEPS program provides youth with the life skills and education necessary to live independent of the shelter system. We also provide ongoing support with interpersonal skills and communication techniques through activities and events in an informal setting.”
