The Residential Program

                                  Providing the Essentials

Youth Without Shelter offers emergency accommodation for up to 30 youth each night. We meet the immediate needs of the youth by providing them with shelter, counselling, regular meals, clothing, personal hygiene products and TTC tokens. Professional child and youth care workers provide assessment, referral and case management services.

While staying with us, residents agree to abide by YWS policies, rules of conduct and house duties. Equally important, during their stay residents must set goals and actively follow a plan to achieve these goals.

Each resident works with a case manager to create these goals and plans. They then meet weekly, to chart their progress and make sure they are taking the daily steps (job interviews, housing searches, etc.) to meet their goals.

If you know a youth who urgently needs a safe place to sleep, please call the emergency shelter at  416 748-0110.
