Your Gift Makes Futures Happen

Youth need many supports to overcome homelessness:  safe shelter, food and clothing, health cards and identification, emotional support, counselling and referral services, life skills training, educational opportunities, affordable housing, job search skills, social skills and recreational options.  Through its programming, Youth Without Shelter offers all of these supports.  We depend on our supporters in the community as we work to secure the futures of the youth who call YWS home.

We offer giving opportunities that can be tailored to meet your individual needs.  Whether you would like to make your gift on-line, by cheque or credit card, on a monthly basis, in memory of a loved one, or by participating in one of our giving programs (Room Mates, Adopt-aBed), your support will reach the youth who need our help the most.  To personally discuss your options please call the Development office at  416.748.0110 ext. 26.

Donate on-line 

Donate on-line through CanadaHelps.org, a registered charity that accepts donations online for the country's 80,000 charitable organizations. (An administration fee is applied to the donation by CanadaHelps.)

Celebrate a Special Occasion

Don't know what to buy that special someone who has everything? How about a donation in their honour to help a young person on their road to independence. Or perhaps, host a party and request donations to Youth Without Shelter in lieu of a hostess gift.

Matching Gift Programs

Donate through your place of employment.  Many workplaces now have a "matching gift program" for donations made to registered Canadian charities by their employees and retirees.  These programs may double or more your donation to YWS.

Leave a Legacy

Bequeathing funds to Youth Without Shelter in your will, or designating the charity as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy are two ways that you can make a lasting contribution to ending youth homelessness. 

Remember a Loved One

Dealing with the loss of a loved one is always a difficult time.  Many people find comfort in making memorial donations to Youth Without Shelter in the knowledge that their donation is helping equip a young person with the skills for a better future. 

Donate Through the United Way

Phone the United Way of Greater Toronto's Donor Line and ask to allocate your gift to YWS:  416.777.1444 ext. 610.  When completing payroll deduction forms, you can also designate Youth Without Shelter

as the beneficiary of your donation. (An administration fee is applied to the donation by the United Way.)
