Who We Are

Youth Without Shelter (YWS) has grown from grassroots beginnings with just 22 beds in 1986 to a full continuum of care – redefining, reshaping, and reimagining the shelter system, always guided by the youth we serve.

Located in North Etobicoke, YWS provides a safe, welcoming space for youth aged 16–24 who are experiencing homelessness. Our wrap-around model of programming offers shelter, one-on-one guidance, mental health and wellness supports, life skills training, and housing services – all delivered in a trauma-informed, strength-based environment.

Every youth is seen, heard, and supported. Our experienced team works alongside them to build resilience, confidence, and independence, empowering each young person to find their own path out of homelessness and thrive within their community.
